Home to a young couple working in art and fashion, this split-level Paris apartment by architect Anthony Authié of Zyva Studio, blends functionality with surreal, cartoon-like flourishes—creating an imaginative and immersive home across three levels. The revamped layout introduces bold statement elements like a bright blue metallic staircase that appears to float between levels and a custom-built bookshelf inspired by Swiss graphic design. Stainless steel kitchen cabinetry is softened by sunrise-inspired curves and bright blue 3D-printed knobs, while concrete floors ground the whimsical elements. Authié designed and built much of the furniture himself—from animal-shaped chairs and spiked rosebush-inspired coffee tables to cactus-like lamps. Upstairs, a new walk-in wardrobe, a soft grey bed with integrated storage, and a bathroom clad in lush green tiles channel the vibe of a tropical greenhouse.
